TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK
An excellent and rare recording of traditional songs and music of a Griots family from the Bobò Ulé tribe in southern Burkina Faso.
The Dembelé family, made up of five members, still embodies this tradition, the African equivalent of the bards and minstrels of medieval Europe, playing and singing from village to village for religious or social festivals.
A record notable for its beauty, authenticity and poetry. A must for lovers of West African music and culture.
